These were the original invention where we knew the original owners from California. They were eventually knocked off by Overseas manufacturers who made these cheaper. In the mid 1990s Wildewood Creative Products closed their doors due to declining sales. We as a gallery were loyal to this company refusing to carry the Taiwan knockoffs until they closed.

This kaleidoscope was such a hit when it first came out in around 1985. I remember we would order cases and cases of these only to sell out fast thru our House On The Rock store in Dodgeville Wisconsin. Only to have to wait weeks and weeks for more to ship to us.

This kaleidoscope produces firework like images when viewing. Truly a magical kaleidoscope.
