Artist Signed Brass Interchangeable Wheel Kaleidoscope By Chesnik Studios with 1.25 inch Diameter Brass Barrel. This new model was designed to replace the Cadet Interchangeable is the same kaleidoscope as the Cadet Dichroic but also offers a wonderful walnut base that holds 2 extra 2" wheels. This scope comes with two dichroic glass wheels, a Brazilian agate wheel and a brass filigree wheel. So a total of 4 wheels come with this model. Dichroic glass is formed by vacuum plating various metals on the surface of glass forming a rainbow of colors. When viewing this kaleidoscope, Dichroic colors change also with different lighting and it does seem to change somewhat by colors around it.

Janice's crafts work is superb in all of her kaleidoscopes. Her attention to detail is wonderful. Her mirror systems are among the finest in the business. As with all her current work the brass barrels have now been professionally coated with a tarnish resistant finish. This process is done by the same manufactures that provide professional finishes for faucets.

Dimensions are The size of this kaleidoscope is 7 1/8" in length by 1 The solid wood stand is in approx 5 7/8 inches in length by 5 7/8 inches in width by 1 3/4 inches in height. 1/4" diameter(barrel) the wheels are 2 1/4" in diameter. Also comes in a nice white corrugated box for safe arrival to you and for easy gift wrapping.
