Chesnik Scopes are widely regarded as the best, most beautiful, most creatively designed wheeled kaleidoscopes available, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who didn't believe they've earned it!
Chesnik Scopes was born over 30 years ago in 1980 by Janice and Ray Chesnik. As you'll find on ChesnikScopes.com, Jon Greene, Janice's son, joined the artistic couple 10 years later in 1990, taking over the business in 2007 so Janice and Ray could "enjoy their much deserved semi-retirement." Soon thereafter Jon opened his own shop in Massachusetts, which we would love to visit someday! In the meantime, we are excited to offer the fantastic fruits of his, Janice and Ray's labor. We love imagining the careful attention and love that goes into every
Chesnik kaleidoscope, and we're confident you'll fully appreciate it once you've had the pleasure of enjoying one yourself.
As for that "semi-retirement" mentioned above? It is but "semi", indeed! While each Chesnik kaleidoscope is dated and signed by Jon, Janice and Ray are still involved in not only passing down this stunning legacy and skill, but also in the creation of each piece. Given the quality, artistic vision and passion for the craft that goes into a Chesnik kaleidoscope, we truly feel their price tag is quite reasonable. We love that customers of many budgets are able to enjoy
Chesnik Scopes, and we are proud to include many in our personal collection as well! Each unique
stained glass kaleidoscope is available for special order in your choice of a brass or chrome finish. KaleidoscopesToYou.com keeps many styles in stock for immediate shipment, so if you should need your Chesnik kaleidoscope quickly, you'll find one here! As for which finish to choose for your stained glass kaleidoscope, go with whichever best suits your style. Both the brass and chrome are PVD coated for a lasting, tarnish-free finish.
