This is a wonderful kaleidoscope in Solid Woods Including Walnut and Birdseye Maple with unique wood turnings. This scope does come with the nice walnut base shown here. The separate spinning object chamber includes various colors and different metal rings. the oil filled chamber spins so you don't have to spin the scope in your hand. It has a 2 mirror system that creates a 4 point symmetrical image.
