Brothers Steve and David Parman began Parman Brothers Ltd. as a woodworking business in 1976. While at a trade show in 1984, they observed a fellow vendor selling ceramic kaleidoscopes and immediately knew that they could use their woodworking skills to craft their own kaleidoscope interpretations. The Parman Brothers bought a toy kaleidoscope to analyze the basic construction of scopes and set forth on a journey that soon became the booming business of Parman Brothers kaleidoscopes.
Over twenty years later, the duo has now become a recognized name in the kaleidoscope industry. They are widely known for their superior craftsmanship and distinguished kaleidoscopes. Each scope is an original, handmade work of art, crafted from various woods such as walnut, maple, red gum, beech and eucalyptus.
