"I love this kaleidoscope! The mirror quality seems fine which is the most important factor. I recommend purchasing various plastic versus solid material beads at Michael's, to let the light through in various colors, shapes, and sizes creating your own masterpieces. Store the pieces in a bead tray. The only negative is the barrel made of shiny cardboard- it should be more durable because it's the first part that will wear out from constant handling. I might wrap it with some clear adhesive plastic." - Karen
