This kaleidoscope features 2 wheels created from dichroic glass which shimmers more than stained glass. This is one of the best crafted wheel kaleidoscopes available. This is Janice's most popular kaleidoscope. The colors seem to change when viewing this kaleidoscope while just panning across the room. This kaleidoscope features dichroic glass wheels which produce a rainbow of colors. Dichroic Glass is formed by vacuum plating metals onto the surface of the glass. The wheels on this kaleidoscope are interchangeable (there is a brass nut on the end). Extra wheels are available for this kaleidoscope including a stained glass wheel(18.00 ea), an agate wheel (25.00 ea),and a Fiesta(millefiori glass) wheel(68.00ea).

Janice's craftsmanship is superb with exquisite attention to detail. Her mirror systems are among the finest in the craft. As with all her current work the brass barrels have now been professionally coated with a tarnish resistant finish. This process is done by the same manufactures that provide professional finishes for faucets.

The size of this kaleidoscope is 9" in length by a 1 1/2" diameter barrel. The wheels are 3" in diameter and the walnut stand is in 5 3/8"length by 1 3/4" height. The Floret Dichroic stands 3 inches high over all on its unique base. A solid walnut base with a solid flat front is available by special order that can hols an engraved plaque. Plaque size can be up to 1/2 high by 4 inches long making this kaleidoscope perfect for personalized gift giving. Also comes in a nice white corrugated box for safe arrival to you and for easy gift wrapping.
