Retirement Gifts, Unique Handmade Gifts, Kaleidoscope, Floret Interchangeable Gold by Kaleidoscope Artist Janice Chesnik. "Floret" is Chesnik Scope's most popular kaleidoscope. The colors seem to change when viewing this kaleidoscope while just panning across the room. This kaleidoscope features dichroic glass wheels as well as two extra wheels housed on its base. The extra wheels are a Brazilian agate wheel and a colorful stained glass wheel. Dichroic Glass is formed by vacuum plating metals to the surface of the glass. The wheels on this kaleidoscope are interchangeable (there is a brass nut on the end of the kaleidoscope).

Janice's craftsmanship is superb in all of her work. Her attention to detail is wonderful. Her mirror systems are among the finest in the business. As with all her current work the gold barrels have now been professionally coated with a tarnish resistant finish. This process is done by the same manufactures that provide professional finishes for faucets.

The size of this kaleidoscope is 9" in length by a 1 1/2" diameter barrel. The wheels are 3" in diameter and the walnut stand that the kaleidoscope sits on is in 5 3/8"length by 1 3/4" height plus the area where the 2 additional wheels are located. The Floret Dichroic stands 3 inches high over all on its unique base. 4 wheels are indeed Included with this model.

This kaleidoscope base does not have a great area for an engraved plate. We do not offer Engraving on this particular model.
