The Cadet Interchangeable is the same kaleidoscope as the Cadet Dichroic but also offers a wonderful walnut base that holds 2 extra 2" wheels. This scope comes with two dichroic glass wheels, a Brazilian agate wheel and a brass filigree wheel. Dichroic glass is formed by vacuum plating various metals on the surface of glass forming a rainbow of colors. When viewing this kaleidoscope, Dichroic colors change also with different lighting and it does seem to change somewhat by colors around it.

Janice's crafts work is superb in all of her kaleidoscopes. Her attention to detail is wonderful. Her mirror systems are among the finest in the business. As with all her current work the brass barrels have now been professionally coated with a tarnish resistant finish. This process is done by the same manufactures that provide professional finishes for faucets.
